finally legal
I had my ID and I had all my friends
on my head was a crown “Birthday Girl!”
And I had a list of the bars in my town.
I had sparkles and heels and long curls.

I had music and dancing and lots of loud noise,
I had my first drink at the bar,
I had my first sniff and a sip and a gulp,
it tasted a little bizarre.

It was a bit sweet and a little like fire
and I wasn't quite sure I enjoyed it
But I didn't give up, and I finished the drink,
my friends whooped that I had destroyed it.

I had love in my heart and a buzz in my head
I had a party montage to live wild,
and when I got home, I had pills for my head
with water, then slept like a child.
