The turning point for the highest court will be horrific and won’t please - a poem. |
| A right that grieves, has no respect, May have religious themes to follow; Those with child do detect A Catholic prez who’s hard to swallow. A blessed peace, let’s all calm down; It’s got to be a woman’s claim That when the shape arrives in town, They treat the heartbeat just the same. Knowing that there’s awesome guilt In overturning Roe v. Wade, Shall place the sword within the hilt, The one the cuts the child no shade… The woman’s right to end her pregnancy Has the best, most logical ending. A truth which lends a core malignancy; While nature’s rules are truly bending. Let’s respect a woman’s right To feel her life and honored role; She may decide the lack of sight For the birth, a child not whole. |
