A little light rain, then the sun came out again.
It rained this morning
just a shower
a mere half hour
no more

Now the new green leaves
shimmer shyly
steaming slightly
in the brightly
shining sun

Dryads shake
their leafy locks
scattering drops
on passers by
as they scurry dry
beneath them

Brollies rolled
still at the ready
nice and steady
in case the rain
begins again

Producing puddles
wellies splashing
small legs dashing
home for tea
