#64 from the pendulum

Tin soldiers once tried
To save the world -
Tinny legs and arms
Niched with crinkles -
Hunting steel demons
To other realms,
Tumbling down
Over shuttered stairwells
Non touched by interdimensional travel.
Tin sometimes cracks
To sharper edges,
Vittling not weening
Whiskered metal
To dots of shrapnel
To throw voices of dissent back
Into violent winds -
In mountains of echoes
Ricocheting courage,
Viewed in three D,
Hills of scrap metal
With tin swords
And steel horns.
