Vladimir Guerrero Jr has some company in the 40 home run club this year with the Toronto Blue Jays.

Marcus Semien hit his 40th home run yesterday in the bottom of the fourth inning in a 6-2 win over the Minnesota Twins.

Teoscar Hernandez also homered for the Jays yesterday in the bottom of the fourth

Hernandez had three RBIs yesterday.

Hernandez now has 106 RBIs this season.

Bo Bichette hit a two run single in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Bichette went three for four at the plate.

Jay's starting pitcher, Steven Matz pitched 5.2 innings, allowing just two earned runs.

It was Matz fourth straight win.

Matz is 4-0 with a 2.72 earned run average in his last seven starts.

Twin's Josh Donaldson hit a two run homer at the top of the first inning.

Donaldson had two RBIs.

Twin's starting pitcher, Bailey Ober pitched four innings and gave up four earned runs.

Toronto now has a 83-65 record.
