|Toronto Blue Jay's Marcus Semien hit a two run homer at the top of the ninth inning, but it wasn't enough as the Tampa Bay Rays won 6-4 last night.
The Jays also left the bases loaded in the ninth.
It was Shane Baz's first major league win as the starting pitcher for Tampa.
Baz pitched five innings, allowed just two earned runs, and struck out five batters.
Toronto was ahead 2-0 until Yandy Diaz hit a three run homer in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Diaz went three for four at the plate and had three RBIs.
Kevin Kiemaier also went three for four.
Manuel Margot had a RBI single for Tampa.
Joey Wendle scored on an error and later hit a solo home run for the Rays.
Teoscar Hernandez and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. homered for Toronto.
Jay's starting pitcher, Robbie Ray, struggled on the mound last night.
Ray lasted just 4.2 innings, allowed seven hits, and struck out five batters.
Toronto is 15-4 this month.
Toronto sends Alek Monoah, (6-2) to the mound tonight.
