Working in the yard leads to cutting down trees - a free verse poem
|How warranted news develops -
The axe must claim a few yard sculptures
Of leftover direction.
Shearing the leathery, woody extensions.
Lofted high above,
The section of hoisted debris is distanced -
An odd void
Meeting its severing claws -
And the fractured focus
And now orchestrated.
