Danny Jansen put the Jays ahead 3-0 with a three run homer at the top of the second inning.
Teoscar Hernandez hit a RBI double for the Jays.
Jay's starting pitcher, Alek Monoah, had a solid outing on the mound yesterday.
Monoah pitched 5.2 innings, allowing just two earned runs and struck out eight batters.
It was Monoah's third straight win.
Twin's Jake Cave hit a RBI single and Byron Buxton hit a solo home run.
Twin's starting pitcher, Griffin Jax pitched five innings, allowing six hits, and four earned runs.
The Jays are off today.
Toronto begins a three game home series with New York Yankees tomorrow night.
