A recap of yesterday's Toronto/Minnesota Game Four of four.
The Toronto Blue Jays are a game back of the Boston Red Sox for the final wild card spot after defeating the Minnesota Twins 5-2 yesterday afternoon, splitting the four game series.

"I'm so proud of this team," said Jay's manager, Charlie Montoyo at the postgame press conference.

George Springer homered for the second straight day.

Springer went three for four at the plate yesterday.

Danny Jansen put the Jays ahead 3-0 with a three run homer at the top of the second inning.

Teoscar Hernandez hit a RBI double for the Jays.

Jay's starting pitcher, Alek Monoah, had a solid outing on the mound yesterday.

Monoah pitched 5.2 innings, allowing just two earned runs and struck out eight batters.

It was Monoah's third straight win.

Twin's Jake Cave hit a RBI single and Byron Buxton hit a solo home run.

Twin's starting pitcher, Griffin Jax pitched five innings, allowing six hits, and four earned runs.

The Jays are off today.

Toronto begins a three game home series with New York Yankees tomorrow night.

Montoyo said he was looking forward to going home to Toronto after yesterday's game.
