She comes across an old photograph and stops awhile.

Old photos, jumbled in a pile
Hardly ever glanced upon these days.
I shuffle through them, then with a smile
I stop. Your face, your eyes, your gaze.

That forgotten day, so long ago
You were so happy. Carefree smile
Frozen in time. Eyes all aglow.
My heart swells, once more beguiled.
