| The day had come, my faith was shaken, the heartbreak of a life mistaken. I gave them my trust in those formative years. Trust easily lost by the pastor, I fear. I suppose I expected him to follow Christ's way but he, being human, had been led astray. The church congregation were of no comfort or aid and perpetuated more rumors based on the things he said. I lost my faith in Christianity and for decades it could not be found. Until, with one foot through Death's door did my faith in Christ rebound. |
