a tale about a wedding |
Bong! The bell tolled loudly inviting everyone inside. The Book, it sat center stage awaiting groom and bride. The church was filled with candles, flames dancing in the air. Garlands adorned every pew and flowers were everywhere. He took his place and waited for sight of his soon-to-be wife; already counting his blessings from having her in his life. When she appeared at the door a hush settled upon the room; all eyes turned to focus on her but hers were locked upon her groom. She proceeded with a certainty in the future that lay ahead. With shimmering eyes, they spoke their vows - and with that, their lives were wed. About This Poem ▶︎ |
