I love to colour my life
with its sound and beauty.

It takes me to realms unknown
on magical wings
and I walk in wonder.

A sweet poem,
honest and deep
takes away my pain.

It lends me strength
to go through harsh realities
turns the world to one of love and joy.

If life is a gift
Poetry is a blessing.
