A poem for Margie |
| In the language of love The predawn light shimmers In the silver strands of your hair I love the time that has passed And made you just who you are It is as if we’d both waited a lifetime For our other half, waiting out there She is too close to my dream I wait heart thumping for her to smile It is what gives length and breadth To this moment in our lives Substance replaced nothingness I have come alive since you came Into my life. You Are My life you know. I understand the concept of Born again It is a new life that I live. With you in my arms |
