Thoughts of a candle

Calm poem i wrote a while ago

Those who light my world
Wait a second,
For my glow to light up yours.
I am small
And fragile
But oh so dangerously warm
And I shine
But what could I possibly do
To shine more than
The sun
The stars
The lights
The cars
That fill the world around me
The same way
my gentle flicker
Fills your world
And your shining eyes.
