went through a breakup, she didn't think I saw a future with her...
Like the first rain that welcomes spring
I fall with purpose, not for brevity
Lingering after like petrichor
Loving you for eternity
Yearning for those bells to ring

Lift me fair moon, raise my tide
And let me wash away your pain
Make life worth fighting for
All you need is a downpour of my rain
Now take my hand, and enjoy the ride
