|Twenty-two point eight trillion miles,|
Is the distance to the nearest star,
And trillions upon trillions more,
Are more distant by far.
So when we see those twinkles at night,
Being such a beautiful sight,
Thinking some day we will conquer space,
Remember that for a good while,
Earth will be our place.
So let us look at that distance and shrug,
Our lives are not over,
Until our graves are dug.
