I'm reasonable.
I take a calculator and an equation. From the equation, I only enter the values that add up to my favorite number. I get my answer from the calculator, and declare that my answer for that whole equation is correct. Am I being sane?

No.

Then why is everyone doing this with the "equation" of reality?
