When I Open My Eyes

A Short Poem About World Peace.

When I open my eyes....

I want to see the heavenly skies

I want the judging to apologize

I want to see the orange sunrise

For I know hate and diversity is unwise

Teach children to recognize and harmonize

Let them be children and chase fireflies and butterflies

Teach to them that the compromise justifies sacrifice

Give them love and peace and a better world to sympathize

Teach them to analyze the wrong to criticize and verbalize

I want the wrong to flounder and wither and capsize

When I open my eyes...

I want the world to prioritize love and symbolize paradise
