On the altercations of COVID-19
Worldwide Tragedy

Sweaty flesh
The insides inflamed
Body battling
This worldwide tragedy

Breathing through an extra layer
Some complain while others pray
Through the tragedy that lingers
In the airs and deep within us

Lives in danger or left stranded
Underground if there's space left
Global warming matters less
Than this global-virus mess

Disagreement amongst doctors
And those who do not care to listen
Friendships lost across the distance
Isolation and six-foot resistance

Makes us wonder what's the purpose
Live hard now, then die the next day
Work hard now to leave your workplace
Love hard now to become lonely

Fight for life
Care for the hurting
If we're called to
Such a journey

Understand it is not easy
Even if your kin's still living
And if someone close perished
Do not follow death but fight it

Back in what was twenty-twenty
It began and who knows when
Will this disease
Dissipate out and away from here

One day will come
When it will be gone
So keep battling
This worldwide tragedy

Complain or pray
To drive this antigen away
So keep battling
This worldwide tragedy
