A small gift for my mother just before International Mother's Day.
My mother sacrificed
Her golden career
For my sake.
When I took birth,
She got a post-doctoral scholarship
For her research work,
But she refused it
To make me a perfect person.
I never saw her unhappiness
due to that self-sacrifice.
She did a lot for me,
She always tells me to keep
Humanity first
And to avoid rudeness.
I try very hard
To follow that advice.
Sometimes, I become anxious,
If I do anything unethical,
She will feel very sad.
