My first Car I recall the first car I ever owned The car’s name was the Pony It was a Korean made car The first Hyundai model It was an automatic not a stick shift It was back in 1983 In South Korea, What a trip we took In that pony Once we drove Up a very steep hill. In the deep countryside And we were so glad The Pony made it. It what locals call An airplane rode As only a plane can get To the top As it is so steep. The price of gas Was expensive in Korea Perhaps 4.00 US dollars. We sold the car A year later And bought a Cadillac On base when I taught At the U.S. base And gas there Was 2.00 a gallon.
