Eight word poem
I live in Australia, that is why
I don’t write of squirrels and meerkats.
We have parrots aplenty that fly in the sky
So this poem will have birds, no talk of cats.

Rainbow-coloured Rosellas and white cockatoos,
Galahs, pink and grey
That’s really as far as I’ve gotten to,
It’s getting too late in the day.
