Pride

This is a poem I'm doing for Remembrance day in Canada for our soldiers.

Please come and stand in memory
Of men and women who fought and died
They gave their lives for Canada
Remember them with pride

The soldiers I am speaking of
Are the ones that set us free
They are the ones that protect us
and stand on guard for thee

Some will fly and some will sail
In the end, our soldiers will prevail

The next time we meet
On the highway of heroes, we'll greet.
