I don't know pain and I don't know fear.
I don't know pain,
I don't know fear.
All I've ever known is love,
And all the things I've seen
I've seen in the light of sun.
Maybe I've been living numb
To all the pain you feel,
Maybe I'm just young and dumb
To be scared of all the things you fear.
Or maybe it's how we've been living,
While you were trying to grow up fast,
I sat down to rest my feet,
And the train took off without me.
I stayed a child and maybe I stayed stupid.
