What "Home" means to me.

What does home
mean to me?
cozy, warm
security.

A place to escape,
to just get away.
A place to relax
at the end of the day.

Home is the place
I feel most like me,
an island of calm
in a turbulent sea.

Yet home's not just a structure.
It's a place in my heart
of which family and friends
are an integral part.

So, whenever I'm asked
what home means to me,
I tell them my home
is my sanity.
