Purgatory Of Footsteps

Are you ever lost inside yourself?

To fall into despair is to fall aloof; to believe shallow words of dark disproof.

For now this time, I wonder why, what is the reason that we die?

The purgatory that I wonder about, is far yonder from the terrain I remember fonder.

Forever I shall wonder about the earth's roots to ponder.
