And just like that, an ad campaign from the Eighties is back in business.
I went to the grocery
to buy four prunes.
They were Eighties sensations,
used-to-be raisins.

Old-timers, grapeviners
singing new tunes,
they were catching the groove
about things going smooth.

There at the grocery,
labeled dried plums
in a bulk foods bin,
four prunes for the win!

Take a scoop! Wrinkly fruit!
By the pound, buy a mound
and become just like me,
a regular dude.
