About an extraordinarily good friend.

Fast as he can!

Bundle of energy,
cutest in the land.
Four legs like drumsticks,
shorter than most,
running and playing,
using his nose.

Head like a fox,
clever like one too.
He'll be running circles
around me and you.

From bunny tail to snout,
this stout little rocket,
is a furry ball of fun,
a gem and a treat;
In endurance tasks,
he'll have most beat.

But there is more than play to life,
a loyal friend can stop.

And sit for a while.

You'll never find a better friend,
I know he's a good boy;
He forgets about running,
and puts down all his toys,
when he senses there's a need,
for furry little guys
to help a human breathe.
Anxiety or sadness,
he'll chase it all away,
with the same relentless patience
when he sits as when he plays.

Eyes that shine with mischief,
can shine with kindness too.
No human words are needed,
to express "I love you".
