Song at Sunrise

whatever reason..."

That snippet out of a song, once sung by the Alessi brothers is repeating in my brain, time after time.
It keeps me awake and I don’t like it because I have a long day ahead of me. It is 3:30 and the alarm is set to go off in two hours.
Why? I wonder. Why this song?
I close my eyes and try to get back to sleep. Maybe thinking of another song might help.
An instrumental tune maybe…

Two hours later I have to get up, but the inside of me is still sleeping.
I prepare breakfast and lunch for the people who have to go to work and school and decide I am going back to bed for a few hours.
And there it is again. And I give up.

An hour and a half later my day finally starts, and the music changed as my alarm woke me up with a new song, which will stick in my brain for the entire day. I can’t check out, anytime I like, and I can never leave…
