My Mom has only months to live. I'm not a Christian but she is, so I wrote this for her.

Together forever
Was my dream
But one day I know
We'll be together again

I'll hold your hand
As far as I can go
And when we come to a gate
One last kiss I will bestow

You'll no longer be in pain
Nor ever be alone
As I watch you walk away
Down that gentle winding path

There will be no fear
We know where that pathway leads
That He will keep you safe
My protection you no longer need

As you watch down from above
Good hearts will come in turn
Although I know it's part of life
