A Touch of Evil

in Anacreontic verse

A touch of evil
rides in on a horse
named Temptation
and settles down
in Smitty's Bar,
where Tequila
and carnal lust
join forces
in an effort
to destroy
families.

Men and women
congregate
to socialize--
innocent enough,
but when those
inflammatory
elements
are poured upon
smouldering embers,
a raging
inferno explodes,
ignited
by Satan's
touch of evil.
