Going Out: Full On-Board

Getting some fresh air -a needed break - a poem about getting out of the house for a time.

Staying homebound - got it made!
Heaven’s coffers, in the shade.
Backyard’s like a forest glade -
Having alcohol and lemonade. 

Eclipsing norms, let’s now go out! 
Home is nice, there is no doubt.
But doing something’s all about
Getting dressed, one’s drinking clout! 

Working weeks are seminal -
Got to use that urinal -
A pleasing job’s a funeral;
Each day’s inspirational. 

But now does seem a towering version.
Folks invite a swell diversion;
Grandest gaits, a sweet dispersion.
Let’s go forth, and choose, excursion. 

Holidays are tons of fun;
But now’s the time to get some sun -
Hallelujah, jump and run!
Praise the outdoors - trigger the gun…
