What they say about adverbs, not to forget conjunctive adverbs, and the elephants in mind |
| Learning to write, some say, not to use adverb. But humans need process in rationalising matters. For example, when someone told us not to think about elephant, then comes that inevitable image of an acrobat elephant, standing on its hind legs into our minds first, before we hush our giant lovely fellow out of mind. Leaving the elephant behind, I'd like to gently remind that writing also serves as a place to do and write what we want. Who dare to stop us writing. I don't want to use adverbs redundantly either. Well, meanwhile on this rare occasion here, kindly allow me as well to write very happily of celebrating the freedom of sharing ideas. |
