A Valentine's poem |
We breathe as one, our hearts and minds Though born apart, now intertwined. Faithful to our vows, as time eludes Working for peace through every feud. Loneliness surrounds us at every turn We break away, crumble, crash and burn The road is narrow, cold, unmarked But love's warm glow lights up the dark Safe and unwavering in our shared song We move forward bravely to where we belong Knowing together we have what it takes To overcome the struggles, pain and heartache. We breathe as one, our hearts and minds Though born apart, now intertwined. |
