Disjumbled thoughts elipsed by time
and welder's lens, a slippery new cell phone
and greasy clouds scudding by too slowly.

Like stones, skipping across the expanse of sky,
my mind splashed from thought to thought.
Minute things threatened to eclipse.

But then ... like a brief pause ...
I stopped. Then, forgetting camera ...
appreciating utter silence around me ...

I beheld, experienced, and ... reconnected.
