A dark poem..

Tell me why on this sleepless night
I feel a surge of adrenaline from within
As if there's something I should be doing
Hidden now within

Getting up and navigating the dark hall
As I feel the infection
The damn infliction
Parasites crawling into my eyes
Looking up at the night sky

Knowing this mission is dangerous
I'm a contagion
Nothing can stop

Spreading my infection
Worthless brain has lost all human thought
As the infection takes over my brain
And I smile and laugh through the pain
This is what it's like to be insane
Who's the real maggot now?
