A poem about how I feel this world has become. |
| Promise & Hope Silenced are the voices striving to speak truth & righteousness, Drowned out by venomous tongues spewing malice & callousness. Blind are eyes turned to a land ravaged with wickedness & despair, Acts of perversion & treachery publicly showcased without a care. Oh precious lord, how we need thee. Minds of youths corrupted by false & twisted indoctrination, Manipulated into believing change can happen to gender classification. Teachings once fundamental in institutes of education obliterated, The book of truth & wisdom once treasured, now banned & hated. Oh precious lord, how we need thee. Alas, times ahead may become too difficult for us to cope, Yet I still hold onto that bright glimmer of promise & hope. To you oh lord, I owe my all for your son who you unselfishly sacrificed, The truth, way, & life I shall always trust in is my savior, Jesus Christ. Written by: Jason Anderson |
