This poem is about Eve from Adam and Eve. |
| How could I resist the outstretched hand of the tree branch? It generously presented me with a chance. The fruit looked so delightful. The shimmering skin of the red… It's not wrong, I'm rightful. So I go ahead. The flesh was inviting. Exciting. It was tender and soft. (at what cost?) (The bitter feeling with each swallow). I felt a little hollow). The joy with each bite It was so delicious, how could I fight? A newness ran through my body. An oddity. (A sin?) Every-time guilt sept through, I took a bite again. I'm not wrong. It's not bad It's the best thing… I've ever had. It tasted so good, I needed to share. Where Adam stood, I realized he was bare… We needed something to wear. |
