Built for sturdiness, strength, and toughness -
Forged of metals and piping hot welding;
A springy jumper, pushing and lifting;
The wisdom gathered from working
On thousands of tasks;
A voracious reader and TV addict,
Forever stuck in social media
And playing video games;
And the greatest teacher of philosophy -
Of modern tools of psychology,
Medicine, and education -
And the basic ideology of sports
Science and methods.
A father, granddad, uncle, aunt, mother,
Or granny,
Bestowing the fruits of their worth
To another proud generation
Of the boldest and brightest citizens;
Staking their claim to be the best deliverers
Of the newest talents on Planet Earth,
Their youthful, pumped up, heightened progeny;
The ultimate young people
Of the current era who will eclipse
The previous norms,
And pave the path for future eons…
