The Holon Research Tower was created to analyse Dimensional Energy. However, this caused the Dimensional Energy to alter the types of some pokémon. Furthermore, some Pokémon responded more violently and became normal types, but can change to 1 of 3 types for a split second. Just enough time to attack or defend.
