Gem a story to come

As the sky gradually transitioned into a deeper hue, signaling the approach of nightfall, Gem remained oblivious to the surroundings, her attention solely focused on the young human trembling on the ground before her. It was not Gem's intention to startle the youth, but amidst the ongoing chaos and her urgent need to distance herself from the others, her abrupt landing in the clearing had unfortunately startled the human's horse, causing it to panic and gallop into the woods, ultimately resulting in the youngling's tumble to the ground, right beneath Gem's immediate vicinity.
