A love poem in Rondeau form (described following the entry). |
She understands my very soul. She's classical, she's rock and roll. She makes me laugh, she laughs with me. She beams with personality. She fills the gaps, she makes me whole. It was one winter, on a stroll, my love she won, my heart she stole. Like swains of yore, I took a knee. She understands. Sometimes she's solemn, sometimes droll. She's there, if needed, to console. Accepting if we don't agree, she's serious but still carefree. Our love is smooth; on cruise control. She understands. Rondeau form ▶︎ |
