Because Birds Are Meant To Fly

Polly wants a cracker!
Are we there yet?
Road trip with child
Road trip with pet!
On and on we go
This is nerve-racking as it can get!

I am hungry!
Need to poop! Ew!

Thirty miles to go
Highway blues for you!
Excited? The bird is manic!

Can I let him out to fly?
Are you kidding?
Right in this traffic?

Watch out! He bit my ear!
And his wing is in my eye
Now I can't see to drive!
There's the hotel, dear!
Stop the car!

Oh - come back, come back
Up there in the sky
The bird has flown, goodbye!
