Wild Cat

She roams the forest with a cat-like attitude.

Regal in her noble stance
She is no cuddly kitten.

Gleaming eyes and
Bushy ruff, there's
Nothing domestic
About this cat.

She's a wild cat!

Majestic
In her buff gray coat,
She flaunts her ebony ear tufts and
Stubby black-tipped tail.

On furry feet
She prowls the nighttime woods
In perfect shadowy silence.

She may be an introvert, but
Within the forest that
She calls home,
She conveys
A confidence,
A fierce determination, and
Ever-dauntless courage.

She's a lynx.
She's a wild cat!
