My orginal description was longer than the poem!

Brevity Ain't My Strong Suit!


Brevity ain't my strong suit,
Just begun, and then the boot!
Why I stick to longer stuff--
'cause four lines is not enough!

Form: TANAGA

It is a poem of four lines (quatrain)
It is usually a rhyming poem
Each line contains seven syllables (7-7-7-7)
AABB is the traditional rhyme scheme
But variations in rhyme scheme are allowed
