What's special about the month of May?
Well, it's got this and that and the other day!
Ever since Camelot and the 'Lovely Month of May'
I've thought it special in every way!

I was born on Mother's Day
Her best or worst one, Mom'd never say!
As a mom, myself, the kids would pay
for a pair of earrings--cheaper that way!

One for the day of my birth, the other one for Mother's Day--
a two for one sale - more special that way!
Except I had three kids- but what can I say...
had to be creative: t'was the month of May!

I still get two-part gifts, a tradition they say.
Take me out to lunch and no, I don't pay!
And then something else to light the way,
it's special, you see, it's Mirthday!
