What does an Eagle and USA have in common?

To soar high in the sky,
Overlooking the land
Filled with woods, and grass and lakes
Strong majestic wings flapping
Looking – hoping …

White crown, brown feathers search
Soaring high in the sky
Over the lake where fish play
Talons outstretched
Daring – seizing ….

Nest to home, fish to feed
There’s joy in knowing the air is warm
Soaring high in the sky
On wings of dreams
Freedom is what you make it

Hopes and aspirations
Raised and dashed
Yet the nest changes and adapts
New sticks added, new life starts
A new cycle of a bird and nation
Soaring high in the sky
