A Mirror Sestet-unrhymed. Oh my goodness! |
Birchbark Pages flake, fly free in the wind. Wind them together, leaves for pages: birchbark journal. Tis more, more a diary of the tree's history. Birchbark will tell you a year's weather- whether or not the storms raged at will, or if drought drained life-giving sap. History-- history is etched in lines and papered bark or even as the paper is inked with my journey. Journey with me: Daresay we'll break even. For we shed our skins too, peeling away a layer. Layer beyond skin deep: It's what we live for. Mirror Sestet The Mirror Sestet, created by Shelley A. Cephas, is a poem that can be written in one or more stanzas of 6 lines each.
