About finding freedom and hope

LOST SOULS

A bead of blood against ivory flesh

Gasps swallowed in the night

Another lost soul, offering itself to love

Plaything to another, devotion abused.

Pleasure and pain endured, for want of another

Until desperation sets in, to need to want

To know nothing else, to feel loves last hope

Feeling trapped and alone, unwanted and worthless

Torturous to continue, unable to stop

To do anything for peace, blinded and lost

So it finally ends, but not how expected

The plaything bit back, violent and incessant.

Freedom she found - so sweet and enchanting

Her heart not yet shattered

Her hopes not abated

Her passions ignited,

Devotion so strong

pleasure and pain are invited and desired.

Safe and secure in love requited.
