Act 3 [Chasing♪] It's March, and today is Sunday, so we decided to go to Lake Biwa with our neighbors, Gen-san, and the others in two cars to the Koyo paradise in Otsu.It's a big hot spring facility with a large hall, and guests come and perform songs, stand-up comedy, and magic tricks. Grandpa and Gen-san drink alcohol while watching the show, but Mom and Gen-san's wife Tora-san drive on the way back, so the grandpas enjoy cold draft beer after the bath. We each got 1000 yen for pocket money and went to the game center. There were crane games, coin games, and all sorts of things, and on Gantan, we were clicking away with shining eyes. The thing that caught our eye the most was the game of pulling a string of octopus thread, and there were stuffed toys of Moni-chan's favorite Pokemon and other things that were tied up in the string, as well as plastic models and Gundam figures that she wanted on Gantan. About 30 of them were neatly placed so that if you picked a string and pulled it, a stuffed animal or Gundam would come up. I paid the man 100 yen and pulled one of the many strings on Gantan. I was hoping that a Gundam would come up, but for some reason, what came up from behind the Gundam was Baby Ramen."They didn't have anything like this.""They sell them for 10 yen at the candy store, I lost out on Gantan." Next, I wanted to get a Pokemon stuffed animal for Moni-chan, so I paid the man 100 yen and while I was choosing a string, I was puzzled by the number of strings compared to the 30 or so luxurious toys lined up."Hey, why are there so many strings? These are all sakura!( fake) They're not actually all baby ramen." The man said,"I'll give you your 100 yen back, so go away,"and chased us away."It's a sakura after all. Gantan is stupid.You're so easily fooled." Gantan opened the baby ramen and devoured it in his mouth in one go. Moni-chan exchanged her 100 yen pocket money for coins and played a coin game.A stepped staircase slid back and forth.Coins were piled up on it, looking as if they would fall to the step below. Moni-chan waited for the right timing to put a coin into the insertion slot. Then the coins piled up on the top step were pushed out and fell to the bottom, and eight coins fell into the return slot with a clang. Moni-chan was delighted and showed the man 15 coins, including the nine she had in her hand, and was in a good mood when he exchanged them for a small Pikachu stuffed toy. I looked through all the crane games and other games, but I didn't think I'd win anything so I decided to save my money. Grandma Natsu said."Hapi saves a lot of money.You saves most of his New Year's money. Hapi to give me a massage, but he always asks for 50 yen each time." In the end, Gantan, I used up all of my 1,000 yen allowance and got one baby ramen and some candies from the crane game."Gantan, same old thing."We changed into our swimsuits and went to Jungle Hot Springs, a tropical hot spring pool and bath. There was a heated pool, a jacuzzi, and palm trees, so it was a tropical hot pool. It was like a jungle, so we took a dip in the pool and walked around the jungle. When I looked down, I saw several crocodiles sleeping. They were real crocodiles."Gantan, look down! There's a crocodile.""I wonder if it's really dead. It's not moving."Gantan, I tore off a palm leaf and threw it down. The leaf fluttered down and fell on the crocodile's back, but it didn't move. At that moment, the song of the music show in the hall came from the speakers. The old men were listening to Yoshi Ikuzo while drinking alcohol. (Chasing after me~♪ Chasing after me~♪) Gantan said"I told you to pour hot water on it." We filled a washbasin with hot water and poured it on the crocodile. The crocodile jumped in surprise."It's alive!!" It was so funny that Hapi and Gantan repeated it several times. At that moment, the PA system said (ping pong pong♪)"Customers, please do not pour hot water on the crocodile.Ken, Jin, and Gen said"There's a stupid brat called Gonta(Naughty child), ha ha ha." We returned to the hall where the show was. Moni said" Older sister and Gantan's brother poured hot water on the crocodile and got scolded by the guy in charge!""You guys did it!!" "But I told you to pour hot water on it..."

act3【追いかけて♪】

3月、今日は日曜日なので、隣の元さん達と車2台で琵琶湖は大津にある紅葉パラダイスに行く事になった。

大きな温泉施設で大ホールも有り、ゲストが来て歌謡ショーや漫才、手品なんかもやっていた。

ショーを観ながらおじいちゃんや元さんはお酒を飲むけど、帰りの運転はお母ちゃんと元さんの奥さんの寅さんがするので、お風呂上がりにおじいちゃん達は冷えた生ビールを美味しそうに飲んでいる。

私達はお小遣いを1000円ずつもらって、ゲームセンターに繰り出した。クレーンゲームや、コインゲーム、色々な物があり、元旦は、目を輝やかせてパチクリしている。

1番に目を引いたのがタコ糸の紐を引っ張るゲームで、タコ糸の紐にくぐられたモニちゃんの好きなポケモン等のぬいぐるみ、元旦の欲しがるプラモデルやガンダムのフィギュアが並んでいた。

紐を選んで引っ張るとそれらのぬいぐるみやガンダムがいかにも上がって来る様に30個程綺麗に置かれている。

おじちゃんに100円払って元旦が何本もある紐の中から1本選んで引いた。ガンダムが上がると期待していたが、ガンダムの裏から上がって来たのはなぜかベビーラーメンだった。

「こんなん置いてなかったやん」

「駄菓子屋で10円で売ってるやん、元旦損しよった」

次に私は、モニちゃんにポケモンのぬいぐるみを取ってあげたくおじちゃんに100円払い、紐を選んでいると、30個程並んでいる豪華なおもちゃに対して紐の本数がやけに多い事に疑問を感じた。

「おっちゃん、何でこんなに紐多いの?これみんなサクラやろ!本当はみんなベビーラーメンちゃうの。」

おじちゃんは、

「もう100円返すからあっち行って」

と言って私達を追い返した。

「やっぱりサクラや、元旦アホやな、簡単に騙されてもうて」

元旦はベビーラーメンを開けて一気に口の中にほうばった。

モニちゃんはお小遣いの100円をコインに変えてコインゲームをした。

段々になった階段がスライドして前後に動いている。

そこにはコインがいかにも下の段に落ちそうに、積み上がっていた。

モニちゃんはタイミングを見計らってコインを１枚挿入口に入れた。

すると上の段の溜まっていたコインが押し出されて下に落ちて、返却口にガチャガチャと8枚のコインが落ちて来た。

モニちゃんは大喜びで手持ちの9枚のコインと合わせて15枚をおじちゃんに見せるとピカチュウの小さなぬいぐるみと交換してもらってご機嫌だ。

私は一通りクレーンゲームなど目を通したけど、取れる気がしなかったので貯金することにした。

おばあちゃんの夏さんが言っていた。

「ハピはお金がたまるなあ、お年玉でもほとんど貯金してるし、マッサージしてくれるのはええけど必ず１回50円ちょうだいって言ってるもんな」

結局元旦は、お小遣いの1000円を使い果たし成果は、ベビーラーメン１個とクレーンゲームで獲得したキャンディ数個。

「元旦、相変わらずやな」

私達は水着に着替えて南国風の温泉プールとお風呂が一緒になったジャングル温泉に行った。

温水プールやジャグジー、ヤシの木があっていかにも南国風の温水プールだった。

まるでジャングルの様でプールに浸かってはジャングルを散歩した。

下を見るとワニが数匹寝ていた。本物のワニだ。

「元旦、下見て!ワニがおるよ。」

「ほんまや死んでんのかな動かへんな」

元旦はヤシの木の葉っぱをちぎって下に投げた。

ヒラヒラと落ちた木の葉はワニの背中に落ちたがワニは動かない。

その時ホールの歌謡ショーの歌がスピーカーから聞こえてきた。

おじいちゃん達がお酒を飲みながら聴いていたのは、吉幾三だった。

（追いかけて~♪追いかけて~♪）元旦が言った

「お湯かけてって言っとるぞ」

私達は洗面器にお湯を目一杯入れてワニめがけてお湯をかけた。

ワニは、驚いて飛び跳ねた。

「生きてるやん!!」

面白いので何度かハピと元旦は繰り返した。

その時構内放送で（ピンポンポンポン♪）

「お客様、ワニにお湯をかけないで下さい」

ケンさんや仁さん、元さんは

「アホな悪ガキのゴン太がおるで、ワッハハ」

ショーのホールに戻った私達。モニちゃんが、

「あのねお姉ちゃんと元旦兄ちゃんがワニにお湯かけて係のお兄ちゃんに怒られてんよ!」

「お前らやったんか!!」

「だってお湯かけてって言ってたやん....」
